There are described two new genera and 26 new species for the first time. The species and genera composition of studied groups of the fauna of Ukraine and Western Palearctic is updated (grasshopper, bugs, true bugs, rove beetles, weevils, moths and butterflies). The new diagnostic morphological and ecological characteristics are discovered. The keys for determination of some genera, subgenera and species are maked (for Reduviinae, Peiratinae, Plutellidae, Psychidae, Pyrgotidae, Ctenostylidae, Tachiniscidae, Ulidiidae, Alticini etc.). The classification systems of Pyrgotidae, Ulidiidae, Alticini are clarified. The evolutionary value of morphological features of eggs, larvae and pupae of notodontid moths and significance of these features for the reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships are elucidated. The meaning of the trophic adaptability to form a consorts connection in phytocenoses is analyzed for phytophagous moths. The current state of species diversity and economic importance of phytophagous insects is investigated (for butterflies, leafroller moth, aphids, weevils). The complex patterns in the structure of the sensor fields on the elytra of beetles are shown also.
