The layout provides: a) measuring absorbed dose rate ?-radiation of 0.005 mrad/h to 250 rad/h in the energy range from 17 keV (Am241) to 186 keV (226Ra); b) measuring times of 1, 10 and 100 seconds; c) the simultaneous measurement of low- and high-energy radiation at maximum capacity accumulation pulse signals 64,000 (for each channel); d) protect the detectors from drops of water and dust; d) continuous operation for 36 hours. First possibility of the practical application of a high-resistance ZnSe as radiation detector that operates in "direct conversion" of energy ?-rays into electrical signal at working temperatures controlled environment to 1500C. For the first time made radiometer based on ZnSe-detector to work in the field without forced cooling crystal. Results of research opens up broad prospects for the use of specially prepared single crystals of ZnSe in spectrometric studies. The detector can be used in scientific, medical and environmental studies for radiometric and dosimetric control in industry, radiation safety inspections of premises and buildings.
