Sample nanostructure particles are prepared using laboratory-scale equipment and hydrothermal treatment (HHT) at a temperature of up to 220 0C, high temperature treatment at 1200 to 1500 0C. Main trends in the synthesis are studied for the structures of carbon products, i.e. carbide nanostructure fillers derived from vegetable precursors. Sample polymer composite materials are prepared as modified with silicon carbide nanoparticles, and carbon, which was introduced into an epoxy binder. Aluminum composites, carbon in which was presented by the following nanoparticles: amorphous carbon (0.5 %), that was produced (by HTT) from pine chips, and also by carbon multi-walled nanotubes (0.6 %), are prepared by powder metallurgy techniques. The Friction&Wear characteristics of the composites manifested a positive influence of the carbon nanoparticles on the reduction of the aluminum composite friction coefficient on steel, and decreasing of linear wearing of this friction pair. The obtained polymer composite structural and wear resistant aluminum matrix materials are recommended for use in aerospace and machine construction industries.
