Aim of work - to perfect the methods of realization of genetic potential of the productivity of sheep of Tavriyskiy type of herd of SEEE "Askaniyske ". Methods are researches - zootechnic, laboratory and biometric. Efficiency of conduct of the sheep breeding depends on such factors, as a breed, indexes of reproduction, level of feeding, condition of maintenance of animals, amount of the produced products and standard of purchase prices. In this connection determination of genetic potential of the productivity is the issue of the day. The indexes of reproduction, milkness of ewes, intensity of height of sapling/pl in different periods, meat and wool productivity, variation of basic plant-breeding signs and intercommunication between them are investigational. Identify the genetic potential productivity: live weight of adult rams should be 90-120 kg, 60-65 kg ewes, rams year of age 65-75 kg, 45-55 kg bright, clipped scoured wool in adult sheep 6.5-7.5 kg , 3.1-3.3 kg ewes, rams year of age 4.0-4.5 kg, bright 3.5-4.0 kg. Improved methods for the implementation of the genetic potential productivity based on improving the reproduction ability of ewes (fertility 86-88%), use of intra-line and interline selection options for lambs with desirable parameters of productive traits, selection and cultivation of young growth in the repair group (150 sheep and 350 bright ) at higher feeding rate.
