It has been shown that treatment of the high-Ohm Cd(Zn)Te crystals by the intense nanosecond pulses of a ruby laser at I = 2...20 MW/cm2, when the condition of temporal and spatial non-local, can improve the surface state, increase the sensitivity, reduce the surface recombination rate and to provide high doping of surface. Analysis of fast masstransfer in cadmium teluride at nanosecond laser irradiation based on the fundamental laws of irreversible thermodynamics possible to obtain a structure with an efficient transformation of energy.
