New breeding line GF-3 refers to the early maturity group (63 days), yield total - 11,4 t / ha, the middle weight of fruit - 0,7 kg, the dry soluble matter content in fruit - 8,4%. A high level of general combining ability on yield and its elements characterize lines. New heterosis hybrid of melon Zagrava F1 - early season, vegetative period - 66 days, period of bearing fruit - 11 days. Yield total - 14,6 t / ha, yield commercial - 13,3 t / ha, marketability - 91%. The middle weight of fruit - 1,04 kg. The dry soluble matter content in fruit - 8,7%, total sugar - 5,0%, saccharose - 1,57%, ascorbic acid - 29,0 mg/100 g. Tasting estimation 8,3 points. The economical effect of cultivation - 11,4-17,7 thousand uah./ha. They are approved in agricultural enterprises of different ownership in Dnipropetrovsk region.
