The object of study - the legal rules governing the sector to promote the protection of intellectual property rights by customs authorities of Ukraine. The purpose of this research is applied scientific analysis of organizational and legal mechanism of protection of intellectual property, to develop proposals for improving CCU such a mechanism. Research methods. Applied general scientific and empirical methods of economic and legal sciences; general methods of research: historical approach; methods of analysis, comparison, systematization and generalization; as well as tabular and graphical methods. Research results. The legal model of interaction between customs bodies with other state authorities in the protection of intellectual property rights; improved algorithm of actions of customs officials to protect intellectual property rights when moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine; proposals of amendments to MK Ukraine on improving the mechanism for protection of intellectual property; scientific publications and final report. Scientific novelty of the research is that, first developed organizational and legal model of interaction between customs bodies with other state authorities in the protection of intellectual property rights; improved algorithm of actions of customs officials to protect intellectual property rights when moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine.
