It was established that the transition to sustainable development is possible provided the economic recovery in Ukraine and adoption by the government "National strategy for transition to sustainable development", which was created by Ukrainian scientists at the beginning of XXI century and meets the strategic goals and objectives of economic integration of Ukraine into the European Union. Shown feasibility of a phased transition of Ukraine's economy to sustainable development through the introduction of cleaner production, based on "National concept of implementation and development of environmentally friendly production in Ukraine", promulgated in 2013.
