To pass on State variety testing sort of babies' slippers steppe ecotype with preset parameter, by the harvest of green mass a 28-35 ton/of ha, seed a 0,4-0,5 ton/of ha, by resistance to cold 8-9 points, drought-resistingness 7-8 points, south of Ukraine well adapted to the unfavorable factors. Theoretical and practical results. Selection of early-ripe, middle-ripening and spondyle forms of babies' slippers. On the average for years researches the best families of early-ripe forms took advantage before a standard on 9,3% - 30,2% on the harvest of green mass and on 7,8% -29,4% on the harvest of dry substance. Practically all families of middle-ripening forms took advantage before a standard. The best from them exceeded control on 0,32-0,52 kg/of м2 on the harvest of green mass and 0,13-0,17 kg/of м2 on the harvest of dry substance. At spondyle forms best families of plant-breeding standards 244/3 and 286/12 on harvest of green mass took advantage before a standard on 0,26-1,02 kg/of м2 and 0,03-1,07 kg/of м2 accordingly. From data of competitive variety testing sort of babies' slippers (№ 195/15) exceeded a standard on harvest of green mass on 10,3%, on the harvest of dry substance - on 12,8% and on harvest of seed - on 12,4%. This variety provided a receipt a 34,45 ton/of ha of green mass, 8,8 ton/of ha of dry substance and 0,58 ton/of ha of standard seed and passed on State variety testing as drought-resisting sort of haying-pascual use, well adapted to hard climatic terms of steppe zone of Ukraine.
