Aim of the research – the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel language training improvement. Methods of the research – factors analysis, which influence individual abilities to foreign languages; language proficiency level of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel at the beginning of their studying at the foreign languages courses; comparative analysis of existing methodology on assessment of individual abilities to foreign languages; the foreign languages courses military students survey on determination of factors which influence foreign languages learning. Taking into consideration the requirements to qualitative selection of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel for studying at the language courses and enhancement of their efficiency the scientific-methods mechanism project was developed. This scientific-methods mechanism is designed for assessment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel individual abilities to foreign languages learning. The assessment is based on the improved testing methodology, test material and practical recommendations concerning practical use of methodology. These measures will help to enhance the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel language training level and the language training system efficiency in general. Materials of the report can be used in the field of military education during the studying at the foreign languages courses at High Military Educational Institutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and during the the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel testing on assessment of individual abilities to foreign languages learning in the process of candidates selection for studying at the language courses.
