Methods of calculation of thermal and electric power of the co-generation plant based on internal combustion engine by heat-balance calculations consistently and exergy analysis of the wastegate line are developed. The research of heat and mass transfer in the low-temperature heat accumulators based on the type of phase transformations of melting and crystallization heat storage materials were conducted. It was found that the value of the thermal energy storage compared to the value of traditional production of heat energy by burning fuel was decreased by 17-20 %.
