It has been observed locus-specific peculiarities of genetic structure by the certain genetic and biochemical systems. It was evaluated the level of karyotype destabilization and identified the occurrence frequency of cytogenetic indicators in different populations of carp. It was obtained statistically significant differences between the occurrence frequencies of genotypes and allelic variants by the different types of molecular genetic markers of wild carp. It was performed the comprehensive analysis of the genetic structure of silver and bighead carp from several regions of Ukraine with uses of various types of molecular genetic markers and investigated the level of somatic mutagenesis using micronucleus test.
