Objective - preparation and study of inorganic sorption materials for effective and selective removal of toxic metals from aqueous media. Research methods - photometry, atomic absorption, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, radiometry, sorption. Main results - sorbents were obtained - intercalated by DTPA, hexacyanoferrate- and calcined forms of layered double hydroxides with the ratio of Me(II)/Me(III) in the brucite layer structure as 2:1; this sorbent has been synthesized by coprecipitation from solutions of salt mixtures Zn(II) and Al(III), Mg(II) and Fe(III). The sorption kinetics for U(VI) by the Zn,Al-layered double hydroxide in model solutions was studied. It was found that the Zn,Al-layered double hydroxides, intercalated by DTPA, are effective treatment of mine waters of uranium-reprocessing industry from U(VI). The conditions for the removal of Cs-137 by Zn,Al-layered double hydroxide were investigated. The application of hexacyanoferrate form Zn,Al-layered double hydroxide is promising for decontamination of large volumes of aqueous media from Cs-137, which has no strict time constraints - "Capping-method", as well as the concentration of Cs-137, followed by a radiometric determination in solid phase. The conditions for the removal of soluble anionic forms of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions of calcined Zn,Al- and Mg,Fe-layered double hydroxides were studied. It was found that maximum extraction of Cr(VI) from aqueous solution occurs in pH range of 3.0-6.0, which allows further usage of these sorbents for concentrating Cr(VI) for its spectrophotometric determination. Scope - atomic industry. Product Description popup.authors Кобець С.О. Федорова В.М. popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
