Its taxonomic revision is conducted and systematic descriptions for manifesting taxons are completed. For the first time different types of water plants and invertebrates are identified. Electronic databases due to structure and function of biota development characteristics are created. The impact of natural and anthropogenic factors on aquatic life structure and functioning and formation peculiarities of primary production and organic substance destruction is analyzed; the role of autotrophic and heterotrophic parts in water self-cleaning is defined. Due to the materials of the research 81 published works are published: 2 - textbooks, 12 - scientific articles, which are included into SCOPUS, 22 - in professional editions, which are included into VАК of Ukraine, 1 - in international professional edition, 3 - in scientific collections, 44 - in scientific conference abstracts of All-Ukraine and international research-to practice conferences.
