The influence of abiotic factors on the dynamics of disease and pest progress in winter wheat varieties differing in resistance has been studied. Resistant varieties have been identified and a set of winter wheat variety samples with group and complex resistance to diseases and pests has been formed. Negative impact of disease incidence and pests damaging on physiological parameters, quality and performance elements of winter wheat plants has been noted. For the period 2011-2015 138 constant disease resistant lines of breeding nursery of Department of plant protection were submitted to Department of breeding cereal crops for further research. In part by the employees of the Department of plant protection eight winter wheat varieties and two spring wheat varieties as well have been developed.
