Methods: spectrophotometric method, titrometric method, direct seeding and membrane filters, light microscopy, methods of chlorination, ultraviolet radiation and coagulation. Main results revealed that to effectively evaluate the water treatment process as a test object should be used not only the culture of E. coli, C. albicans as well. It was revealed that the culture of C. albicans in the process of disinfecting water with chlorine is able to be in the VBNC. A method for detection of C. albicans culture that is in VBNC.
