The subject of research is theoretical and methodological principles of training of economic specialists that are based on competency and active approach. The aim of research is studying of theoretical and methodological principles of training of economic specialists. To realize the aim the following tasks were solved: theoretical principles of training of economic specialists in Ukrainian higher educational establishment were studied; the experience of training of economic specialists in a system of stage education in Germany, Great Britain, and the USA was investigated; to form methodological principles of training of economic specialists based on the competency and active approach. Relevance of research. Social and economic transformations, processes of globalization, integration, democratization and informatization of society, increasing the role of information and knowledge in its development require the new demands of training of economic specialists. Mainly it applies to bachelor of specialty "Accounting and Audit" and "Finance and Credit" which professional activities are particularly submitted to modernization, as it occurs in the context of changes and tendencies in the post-industrial society. Methods of research: comparative analysis, systematization and generalization, classification and comparison, forecasting, system and complex analysis. As a result of realization of research work, is planned to offer the organizational and pedagogical conditions of modeling of competency economic specialist.
