Significant prevalence of abdominal obesity, dyslipidemia and insulin resistance was found in patients with hypertension and confirmed negative impact of mentioned factors on morphofunctional heart state and blood vessels. It was shown the impact of obesity on the patient's life quality. It was shown that one of the most sensitive to the morphological changes of heart and blood vessels is a component of physical functioning. The leading role of informing patients about the presence of risk factors, the threat of complications and the need for continuous treatment improved adherence was proven. The leading factor in improving the quality of life is acceptable adherence to medicines treatment and lifestyle modifications. It was found that fixed combination of ACE inhibitor/diuretic or ACE inhibitor/calcium channel blocker with receiving 1 tablet a day is the best variant of therapy for improving the parameters of quality of life and maintaining the patient's adherence to medicines. It was first proved the usefulness of assessing the quality of life in patients with coronary artery disease and chronic heart failure, revealed a statistically significant relationship between heart rate variability and the level of quality of life of patients. For the first time it was shown that the inclusion of Thiotriasoline to basic therapy of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and arterial hypertension improves systolic and diastolic function of the heart, blood flow parameters in the arterial vessels, endothelial function and quality of life.
