The installation is designed, the principle of which is based on the synthesis of nanocarbon from carbon-containing gas in the plasma of a high-frequency pulse-periodic discharge which is formed in the electrode gap located in the reactor filled with carbon-containing gas using a high voltage discharge pulse generator. The maximum frequency of the current pulses is 100 kHz. When the power of the generator is 1 kW, the performance of the installation in continuous operation is 20 g of nanocarbon per hour. Synthesized nanocarbon has an onion-like structure with a particle size in a range from 8 to 30 nm. It contains no additives and does not require further purification.
