Subject of research - the processes of heat exchange and external aerodynamics in packages of finned tubes convenient streamlined form, operating in conditions of natural draft and free convection. Purpose - development and creation of heat exchange surface of the packaged flat oval finned tubes and study their characteristics in terms of heat and aerodynamics natural draft cooling technology for implementing recycled industrial water and other technology products in the energy and industrial installations of "dry" air cooling. Research methods - determination of average heat transfer coefficients and drags coefficients on the results of experimental measurements of temperature distribution on the surface and edges of tubes and pressure loss in tubes packages. To study the structure of flow and averaged velocity fields in packaged finned tubes in natural draft conditions the method of numerical simulation with the package ANSYS was used. The first time was researched the external heat transfer laws and drag staggered packages flat oval finned tubes at low flow rates in a natural draft and free convection. The influence of the major geometric and operational parameters on the intensity of heat transfer was examined. The resulting new systems of generalized correlations to calculate the heat transfer and drag in conditions of low flow velocity, free convection and natural draft, taking into account the changing in geometrical characteristics of tubes and stepper performance packages. For the area of change of parameter of fin from 0.2 to 0.65, it was proposed a new, more advanced and more accurate formula for the calculation of the efficiency of rectangular fins of flat oval tubes. To confirm the ideas applied in the design flat oval tubes with an incomplete transverse fin on the basis of experimental data on heat transfer packets of these tubes to verify the approach to the synthesis of results and reliability of the generalized empirical relationships to calculate heat transfer coefficients and the efficiency coefficient of fins it was designed and manufactured Layout module "dry" air cooler. Thermal tests were conducted on cooling manufactured modules at the laboratory. Tests of coolant and experimental results of heat and aerodynamic characteristics of packages in flat oval tubes with fins showed the competitiveness of such tubes when being used as the surface in heat exchange systems for "dry" cooling technology products, both in terms of forced convection at low air speeds flowing and under free convection and natural draft. There were proposed recommendations on the design and created a new methods of calculation of heat exchangers based on flat oval tubes with incomplete fins working in conditions of natural convection and traction at low flow rates.
