It is shown that in response to inoculation by rhizobia plants synthesize a number of metabolites that are known as an active components of the plant protection system. At the same time the response of plants to infection independent of strains properties of the active or inactive form symbiosis. Soybean under rhizobial inoculation shows nonspecific response to inoculation regardless of bacterial characteristics. It was established that the total protein content of soybean roots under inoculation indirectly depends on the availability of nitrogen-fixing apparatus and depends on presence of symbiotic properties of strain inoculant. Quantitative protein in nodules is a direct consequence of rhizobial inoculation and depends on symbiotic characteristics of the strain inoculant.
