Research objects are multicomponent high-entropy alloys and coatings with the purpose of development of cathode receipt technology for the vacuum-arc evaporation and determination of physic-mechanical properties of superhard coatings. A purpose of work is a study of features of electronic concentration influence on forming of phase composition of multicomponent high-entropy alloys, determination of physic-mechanical properties of coatings on the basis of multicomponent high-entropy alloys. Methods of researches are measuring of hardness, determination of resiliency level and fluidity limit by the method of automatic indentation, determination of friction coefficient. Elements which allow to get sosoloids in high-entropy alloys on a base BCC and FCC grates are certain. Cathodes are made for vacuum-arc evaporation, their phase composition and physic-mechanical properties is certain. Physic-mechanical properties of coatings on the basis of multicomponent high-entropy alloys are certain. Obtained coatings have hardness higher 40 GPa. Descriptions of coatings thermostability are certain in the range of temperatures up to 1300 C. Nitrid coatings on the basis of high-entropy alloys have high firmness to the abrasive wear, which is determined the complex action of three factors: by the presence of the nanostate, practically the untextured structure and high level microstrain.
