Archaeological excavations in the northern part of Plisnesk archaeological complex in 2015 included two trenches on total area of 70 sq. m. in the localities "High Hill-Fort" and "Poruby". They resulted in discovery of numerous artifacts as well as of many objects of Slavic and Ancient Rus' periods. First line of defenses was discovered in the locality "High Hill-Fort" which was composed of earth -wooden fortifications. Besides, a barrow was investigated with cremation burial inside.
