The objective of the research is to create an evidence-based and scientifically verified review of components of the normative and cognitive discourse and to define the operating formation factors of lingvopoetic means. The research is based on several theoretical methods, including the analysis of scientific linguistic literature connected with the object of research, the consideration of dissertations, theoretical modeling, and also incorporates statistical methods. The theoretical provisions, the results of the conducted research and the obtained conclusions can be used in the educational process in order to increase the quality of theoretical and practical training of students, as well as in drawing up training and academic programs, tests, lectures and practical training courses. The scientific novelty constitutes the following aspects: 1) it specifies and provides a deeper understanding of such notions like "norm", "concept" and "lingvopoetic discourse"; 2) it validates, outlines and approves the basic theoretical principles of expressing various concepts the in German language, develops the conception of norm setting in the modern German language, the structural-semantic features and the operating formation factors of lingvopoetic means as well as the mechanism of their realization; 3) it considers the cognition process in a complex manner, in the context of the modern cognitive discourse. The application efficiency: based on the results of the scientific research the following dissertation was concluded: Oleksienko A. V., 2015. The complex sentence with a determinative clause in the modern German language. The application sphere: educational process for the purpose of increasing the level of foreign-language competence among the students. 159 articles (including abstracts) and 1 monograph were issued based on the research results; one more monograph is currently in print. The research results have been integrated into the master and bachelor lecture courses. The topics of graduation papers have also been coordinated with the subject of the research.
