The object of study is components and the process of learning and teaching a foreign language. The aim is to create a model and evidence-based and research-proven method of foreign language study. Methods: theoretical methods are linguistic analysis of scientific literature on the study the method of theoretical modeling; empirical methods are pedagogical experiment, test, questionnaire, survey; methods of mathematical statistics. The results of the research can be used in education to enhance foreign language competence of students. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that it: 1) leads to deeper understanding of the nature of concepts for foreign language professions, communicative competence, interactive learning; 2) theoretically proved developed and tested pedagogical technology of foreign language competence of students; 3) interactive method of learning a foreign language and translation is considered comprehensively. Efficiency of implementation: defense of dissertations on the results of research: Doctoral dissertation, Khodorenko G.V., 2013, subject "Nomination groups in Russian: semantic, functional and cognitive aspects"; Candidate thesis: Suyima I.P., 2013, the theme is "Formation and lexicographical presentation compound adjectives with the meaning of national territorial identity"; Zaitseva S.V., 2014, the theme is "Lexical-word creative and stylistic peculiarities of Ukrainian-blog"; thesis submitted for defense by Plakhtiy A.A. "Verbalization of the concept ENGLAND in the Russian language." Sphere of usage: education process to enhance foreign language competence of students. Published: 3 lecture courses, 10 sets of teaching materials, 2 manuals, defended:75 year papers and 98 Degree theses (Bachelors, Specialists and Masters).
