Between the years 2011-2015 the Register of plant varieties that are suitable for spreading in Ukraine introduced three varieties of spring barley: Svarog (2012). Patent number 120,284, Armaks (2013). Patent number 130,248, Colorful (2014). Patent number 140,388. During the last years is conducted a breeding of spring barley in accordance with developed conception breeding for increased adaptability to changing growing conditions to improve and stabilize yields in production. Studies are directed at developing ways to increase efficiency mutational variability in the selection of various methods and creating new valuable spring barley varieties, bio plastics to high technological qualities of grain that are resistant to lodging, drought, disease and pests. On elaborated methodical basis is highlighted new breeding material with a complex of economically valuable traits, are created and successfully passing the state sort testing in Ukraine : Tiver (application №12012018 from 10/12/2012), Aristey (application №13020024 from 05/12/2013), Iris (application №14020006 from 05.11.2014).
