The selected parent plants from hybrid populations, (hereinafter descendants) are studied at all levels of the selection process. New varieties of peas (spring vetch) and hybrid lines of other research institutions in Ukraine and Russia were studied in the collection and hybrid nurseries, competitive strain testing. In total were created 26 varieties of peas (spring vetch), of which Vinnytsia 30, Vinnytsia 2, Podilska 18 and Pribuzhskoye 19, Margarita, Podilska 9, Viarika and Ariadne in different years were in zoning. In the Register of plant varieties of Ukraine are varieties Svetlana, Irina, Liliana, Vladislav, Elizabeth, Hope of Podillia, Pivdennobuzka in all soil-climatic zones of Ukraine. At the state strain testing of varieties were Elizabeth, Hope of Podillya, Vinnytsa Yuvilyarka and Pivdennobuzka. In 2015 were transferred to the state varietal testing a new variety Peremojna. Is carried out seed-growing work _ in primary and elite levels of the Register and transmitted to the state varietal state testing of new varieties in volumes to ensure that the objectives of the State Service for the Protection of Plant Varieties and their introduction in production in farms of all forms of ownerships.
