Test different potato varieties were conducted in the special department of potato crop rotation Prykarpattia State Agricultural Experimental Station, which is characterized by a flat relief with a slope of 0.60 worker, podzolized chernozem with hard loam texture of the soil, rock sub-genres - carbonates, the depth of the arable layer of 30 cm. We studied 12 varieties of different maturity groups, which are listed in the Register of plant varieties suitable for cultivation in Ukraine. In the context of Carpathian despite the adverse weather conditions in 2014, 2015 tests, the most productive in terms of yield varieties listed in the Register of plant varieties suitable for cultivation in Ukraine in recent years. Among all the varieties tested the most productive: The Legend (48.1 t / ha), Green Grove (45.0 t / ha), cases (38.1 t / ha), Shchedryk (34.0 t / ha), Dorogina (25.7 t / ha), margins (29.8 t / ha). Most seed production over the years of research distinguished varieties cases (22.8 t / ha), Shchedryk (19.4 t / ha), Legend (17.8 t / ha), margins (15.6), Dorogina (15 0 t / ha), Green Grove (15.0 t / ha), Vera (15.2 t / ha), Miracle (13.9 t / ha). The defeat of viral diseases during the reproduction of the elite is 1.8 - 5.0%. The most affected were leaf mosaic twist varieties in 2014: Zawiya - 5.0%, Shchedryk - 4.0%, Faith - 3.4%, Ward - 3.2%; 2015: Zawiya - 3.0%, Shchedryk - 2.6%, the Treasury and Charm - by 1.8%, Faith - 1.2%. Not applicable defeat ordinary potato and wrinkled mosaics. Dry rot were the most affected varieties: Velvet 99 (23.0%), Vera (21.0%), Shchedryk and Wonder (10%), Legend (5.4%). The studies found that in the southwestern Prykarpattia Ukraine on the results of 2014, 2015 resistant to disease and degeneration of potato varieties were to happen, Green Grove, Legend, Outskirts, Dorogina that confirms their high adaptability to the conditions of the Carpathian region. The study of the adaptive capacity of different groups of varieties of potatoes maturity will be conducted in the coming years, which will provide an opportunity to observe and study them and, on the basis of the research, make informed conclusions about the further cultivation of these varieties under the conditions of the Carpathian region.
