Scientific report: 33 pp., Table 8., 1 fig., 12 sources. The object of research, breeding and seed winter rape. Objective: To improve methods of selection process for creating highly productive winter rape varieties with improved biochemical indicators of quality oils and explore the inheritance of essential fatty acids (oleic, erucic). Research Methods: - Field: hybridization, individual and family selection, okomirna score on winter hardiness, resistance to lodging, shattering harmful organisms; - Laboratory: Oil content, fatty acid composition, the content of glucosinolates, weight of 1000 seeds. The material for the study were collectible, hybrid and breeding patterns of winter rape with a low content of glucosinolates, which did not exceed 10 mmol / g in the seed samples of working collections and content of oleic acid exceeded 75% (oleic type) or at least 40% erucic acid (erucic type ). For the accounting years 2011-2015 one of the destinations winter rape breeding was to create varieties of winter rapeseed different types (oleic and erucic) and improving methods of conducting the selection process of winter rape in this direction. Selection of winter rape was carried out mainly by interspecific hybridization using sortoobraztsov different eco-geographical origin, followed by individual and family selection. The method according to task performers and capacities of the logistics agency gives the best results in the creation of winter rape varieties with different content of essential fatty acids, including oleic and erucic. The analysis of the studied material, selection of the best examples, chosen hybridization and samples for further study. Revealed valuable genotypes of winter rapeseed are high in oleic (within 80-82%), erucic (over 52%).  HYBRIDIZATION, RAPE, GLUCOSINOLATES, SELECTION, OLEIC ACID, ERUCIC ACID.
