The satellite imagery classifications to delineate the main vegeta-tion types for the test site area are fulfilled. Techniques for land cover moisture using remotely sensed data are tested. Spectrometric characteristics of winter wheat crops at different vegetation stages are detected. Algorithms for measuring land cover temperature and thermal radiation coefficient using data of infrared surveys are developed. The approach to regression models creation for evaluating land cover thermal radiation coefficients by spectrometric measurements at different infrared spectral ranges is described. Application of the robust regression models is substantiated. The algorithm for constructing ro-bust regression models is described.
