The main purpose of the satellite perspective frame far infrared spectroradiometer (8-13,5 micrometers) is to provide a range of physical properties of the earth's surface (temperature and coefficient of thermal emissivity), which are major interpretive signs of natural and man-made objects, which are necessarily to be involved to the analysis of the of natural resources, scientific and special thematic problems of remote sensing (RS) solution. The main purpose of the research is to increase the information content of satellite imagery in the far infrared spectral range by estimating of the physical characteristics of the Earth's surface - temperature and emissivity. The project has been performed by the order of The State enterprises of special Instrumentation "Arsenal". Performer is The Scientific Centre for Aerospace Research of the Earth Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (CASRE). The bulk of the report consists of introduction, 4 sections, 11 subsections, 10 items, 4 paragraphs, and conclusions. During the project implementation the mathematical model, algorithms and demo software for subpixel imagery processing were improved; theoretical models, methods and algorithms for radiometric calibration of the frame infrared spectroradiometer and experimental verification of the were developed; existing methods for the temperature and spectral coefficients of thermal emissivity determining in different infrared spectral ranges for perspective satellite frame infrared spectroradiometer were adopted; the necessary algorithms and demo software were created.
