A research object is new perspective varieties of tobacco, superelite and elite seed, sortotype Large-leaved and Berley, nurseries of posterities, field inspection. A purpose of work is an increase of efficiency of production of tobacco due to creation of sorts and hybrids with high technological and chemical quality of raw material, ecological adaptiveness, complex stability to illnesses, providing the high-quality of high quality seed of perspective sorts of tobacco, which keep in the process of reproduction all morphological signs, genetic and of high quality cleanness, incident to every sort. Research methods - the field, laboratory, plant-breeding, immunological, statistical, method of theoretical analysis of scientific literary sources. Theoretical and practical results. At high scientific level investigational and grounded requirement to the seed of superelite and elite of tobacco, agrotechnics of growing of seed, method of leadthrough of the field inspection, requirement in relation to the high-quality indexes of sowing material of superelite and elite. The observance of foregoing recommendations will be provided by high quality of the grown seed of tobacco and instrumental in the increase of production of tobacco raw material in Ukraine. In the process of research the followings results which have a scientific novelty are got: the features of conduct of primary seed of tobacco of sorts of the Ukrainian selection of type are grounded Large-leaved and Berley, the method of leadthrough of the field inspection is offered, requirement in relation to the high-quality indexes of sowing material of superelite and elite. Efficiency of introduction - applying of scientific developments in industry provides the producer of superelite and elite seed of tobacco high quality of seed which create pre-conditions for the effective use of genetic potential of sorts. A net income from realization of 1 kg of elite seed of tobacco can attain to 15 000 UAH, and the level of profitability will make 300%. An application domain is scientific establishments - producers of superelite and elite seed of tobacco.
