The subject of the research and publishing activities of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and normative-analytical framework. Purpose — to determine the trends of changes of basic parameters of the publishing production of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the context of development of domestic science about the book and book culture in the framework of sagallino process and taking into account developments in related fields of science, promote interagency, interregional and international contacts. Research methods — the monitoring of periodical and book editions of the NAS of Ukraine, study of archival sources and current information on the publishing activities of the NAS of Ukraine using the methods of source study and bibliographic analysis. Analyzed and systematized information about: book products of national Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for 2012—2014, periodicals of national Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and institutions of NAS of Ukraine; - publishing activities of NAS institutions. Systematic scientific research is conducted in the following areas: studies in the theory and history of book culture and book Sciences, studies in the theory and methodology of book science, the study of the current state of book publishing in the national Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, preparation of works on the history and current state of book publishing and bookselling activities of the NAS of Ukraine, implementation of complex analysis (monitoring) of the status and trends of development of academic book publishing, development of teaching materials in the field of academic publishing. Research results are used in the preparation of: annual three annotated catalogues of printed editions published by scientists of the NAS of Ukraine for 2012—2014; the catalogue of periodicals of the national Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and institutions of NAS of Ukraine (magazines and anthologies) in 2014; each year there are 12 rooms of General academic journals the national Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "Herald of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", "Reports of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" and 6 issues of the journal of the NAS of Ukraine "Science and innovation" and its English version "Science & Innovation"; six editions of the book series of the NAS of Ukraine "Science of Ukraine in the global information space" (Vol. 7-12); two monographs; normative and methodical documents on standardization of the publishing industry of the NAS of Ukraine. The results of these scientific studies can also be used for preparation of the methodical, scientific, reference and encyclopedic literature, the publication of works on the history of Russian book culture of different historical periods.
