O.S.Kolomiychenko popup.description2 Object of study is the clinical course of acute and recurrent pharyngitis in children and immunological disorders Objective: To increase the effectiveness of treatment of children with acute and recurrent pharyngitis through the use of combination oral antiseptics and immunologic response modifiers. Under investigation were 199 children aged 8 to 17 years with acute and recurrent pharyngitis. The studies showed that local antiseptics are sufficiently effective in treatment of children with acute and recurrent pharyngitis. This applies to operated patients, and those who did not have surgery on the tonsils. But, along with clinical efficacy, local antiseptics make negative impact on the state of local immunity, especially on sIgA level in oropharyngeal secretion. The experiment in vitro showed that all local antiseptics inhibit production of IFN?, partially pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, especially such drugs as Benzydamine and phenol. Combined therapy of children with acute and recurrent pharyngitis, includes local antiseptic, immunologic response modifier or mucosal vaccines and probiotics normalize the state of local immunity, which positively affects the health of the child. Application of the scheme of combined treatment of children with acute and recurrent pharyngitis reduces the possibility of disease recurrence. Product Description popup.authors Заяц Т.А. Кудь Л.А.
