The investigation was carried out on two hybrids of corn and eight winter wheat varieties. Project was focused on studying the connection between the rearrangements of satellite and transcribed DNA methylation patterns and change rate of seed germination. Restriction analysis, ITS-, ISSR - RAPD - PCR were used for the estimation of degree of profiles DNA of corn and wheat seedling variety polymorphism. Quantification of distinction or "distance" of DNA methylation profiles as the index of intra variety polymorphism was conducted. In the ten experimental series was indicated connection between various seeds' germination rate and polymorphism of functionally different DNA methylation patterns of seedlings and their germination stress resistance and adaptive capacity. The data allowed the DNA methylation pattern considered as the factor of organism's individual resistance, and polymorphism of methylation pattern as the factor of variety' resistance. Great changes of DNA methylation pattern not only transcribed but also satellite DNA shown while adaptation germination under exposure of different nature (chronic gamma irradiation, acute UV-C irradiation, hydro priming) pointed to importance of this factor in plant resistance and role in epigenetic regulation of adaptation by chromatin remodeling and ones transcription activity. Next recommendations were offered: 1. Take into account the index of intra variety epigenetic distance as the additional characteristic for variety' selection for areas with unstable climate; 2. Taking into account the role of satellite DNA in chromatin remodeling and ones transcription activity the estimation of intra variety epigenetic distance can be limited by the assessment of polymorphism profiles of satellite DNA only.
