The aim is to develop a training manual on theoretical, procedural and general methodological issues of legal expertise in terms of expertise in intellectual property for training on qualification of court expert in intellectual property. Research methods. Methodological basis of research is based on general and special methods that contain dialectical method of scientific knowledge, namely, comparison, synthesis, analysis and synthesis. Results of research can be used by legal experts during the forensic examination of intellectual property; at improving the skills of forensic experts and training of young specialists; as well as officers of the court and pre-trial investigation in the appointment examination.
