N. Sokolovski" popup.description2 The object of research - the suitability of soils to organic farming on the content of trace elements in the area of atmospheric emissions energy and chemical industries. Purpose - to provide assessment of the suitability of areas that exposed to the influence of atmospheric emissions by energy and chemical industries for organic farming by the content of trace elements and heavy metals (for example Zmiyiv TPP and Avdeyevka coke plant). Research Methods - expeditions, fields, analytical, statistical and examination of published information. Research results: The information on the content of trace elements and heavy metals in soils and its accumulation in crops on the area of atmospheric emissions Zmiyiv TPP and Avdeyevka coke plant were collected and systematized , the separate block GIS "Trace elements in soils of Ukraine" was formed ; the methods for assessing the suitability of soils in the areas of atmospheric emissions energy and chemical to organic farming for the content of trace elements (heavy metals) (for example Zmiyiv TPP and Avdeyevka coke plant) were improved; the statistical processing of data and allocation areas of low, optimal and excessive content of trace elements (heavy metals) in soils in the area of atmospheric emissions Zmiyiv TPP and Avdeyevka coke plant were demonstrated; the evaluation suitability of soils in the area of atmospheric emissions Zmiyiv TPP and Avdeevka coke plant to organic farming for the content of trace elements and heavy metals (the map-schemes and accessory information) were developed. The research results have become an integral parts of the "Concept of organic agriculture (soil-agrochemical aspects)" and "Atlas Ukraine soil suitability for organic farming (zonal aspects) " (part II and III). The novelty: for the first time the suitability of soils to organic farming on the content of trace elements in the area of atmospheric emissions by energy and chemical industries were determined. The effectiveness of implementation, saving costs and calculation of optimal agricultural manufacturers on conducting transition with the level of heavy metals in soils and crop production were shown. Scope (area) of application - husbandry and agriculture.
