N. Sokolovski" popup.description2 The object of study - the soil of Ukraine, their quality parameters, database and data storage technique of soil resources SOTER (Global and National Soils and Terrain Databases) and DB "properties of soils of Ukraine." Purpose - to justify the fundamental methodological and practical basis of agriculturally-based zoning of agricultural land in Ukraine using the database of the properties of soils; develop an improved approach to determining the monetary value of arable soil; to develop a scheme and regional fragments of agriculturally-based zoning of Ukraine on the quality of the soil, to work out the methodology of the scientific basis of the accumulation of data and to harmonize the database structure "properties of soils of Ukraine" with the design features of the database SOTER; Register indices form the reference quality arable soil within all areas of provincial forest-steppe of Ukraine. Research methods - mapping and statistical analysis of data, creation of samples from the database "properties of soils of Ukraine", the calculation of the index of the physical quality of the soil (IFYAG) by a process protected by the patent. The results - the concept of the organization and functioning of the monitoring of soils in Ukraine, taking into account European experience (scientific edition), guidelines for the monetary value of arable soils of Ukraine, guidelines for appraisal of arable soils of Ukraine, the book: "agriculturally oriented zoning of land on the soil properties (justification methods examples) "," Investment attractiveness of arable land in Ukraine (method of determination and cartographic analytical assessment) "," Valuable, degraded and little productive soil Ukraine: measures to protect and enhance fertility", " Soil agronomic and environmental physics ", the registry reference physical properties of arable soils of Ukraine and recommendations of the evaluation of the physical quality of the soil. Scientific novelty lies in the development of scientific bases of the methodology of zoning land, shaping the structure and regional fragments of agriculturally-based zoning of the territory of Ukraine, the construction of an improved and adapted to international practices database "properties of soils of Ukraine", the development of advanced methodological approaches to monetary valuation and appraisal of arable soils, concepts organization and functioning of soil monitoring in Ukraine, taking into account European experience, quantifying valuable, low productivity and degraded soils, the development of the registry reference the physical parameters of the arable soil of Ukraine. Economic efficiency is to improve the accuracy of scoring qualitative state of arable land, objectification value of arable land and cost savings needed for evaluation. Scope - agriculture, appraisal, the money value of land, assessment and monitoring of soil resources.
