The purpose of research - development theory gully in hollows sloping land for agricultural production and methodology of stabilization of soils in hollows and preventing their passage into the ravines. Research methods - computer mapping, field and laboratory experiments, statistical. Theoretical results - mathematical models gully (defined annual growth of gullies) and gully erosion in the hollows (defined layer gully denudation), developed a methodology for stabilizing soil in hollows with different agronomic load. Development of the operation reveals troughs on sloping lands, to determine the direction and composition of activities to effectively stabilize soil on sloping lands. The research results are summarized in the scientific and methodical manual "Theoretical Foundations of gully formation in modern conditions of land use for the northern steppes of eastern Ukraine."
