N. Sokolovski" popup.description2 The object of investigation - the content of biologically available forms of micronutrients in soils, the trace elements' content in plant material (grain). Objective - - to systematize and structure the experimental data on the content of trace elements in soils of Ukraine and in the main crop production, to determine the optimal content of trace elements in soils for the main grain crops, to develop guide on rational use of micronutrients for the grain crops at different levels of fertilization. Research methods - universal general scientific methods, methods of theoretical analysis, a systematic approach, comparative analysis, the software method. Results - a database of the content of trace elements in soils and crops at different levels of fertilization, which ensures optimal editing and data management is developed. Guide for rational use of micronutrients in crops at different levels of fertilization based on estimation of the demands of modern high-performance varieties of crops in microelement nutrition is worked out. Removal of trace elements by crops rated by Vazhenin gradations and optimum content standards for mobile compounds of trace elements in soils of different buffering capacity considering their absorption by crops developed in the soil industrial pollution control laboratory is assessed. Schematic maps of Ukraine soils provision by basic micronutrients for crops growing, which are part of the guide allow to identify and visualize the regional natural features of soil micronutrients availability and to choose optimization strategy of crops' nutrition by trace elements. Novelty - during the development of guide on rational use of microfertilizers for crops rationing content of trace elements in soils taking into account their buffering capacity and characteristics of micronutrient absorption and accumulation of grain crops was used. The results of research are planned to introduce in the State Institution "Soils Protection Institute of Ukraine" and its affiliates. Efficiency - expected cost savings businesses in the crop of 10-20 €/ha due to reduced need for fertilization by the spatial distribution of rational crop rotation and formation in accordance with the needs of microelement nutrition of crops and the actual supply of arable soils by micronutrients. Field of application is agriculture.
