N. Sokolovski" popup.description2 The object of research is the fundamentally updated methodical approaches to the use of remote sensing for diagnosing and evaluating soil and for soil mapping based on satellite imagery. The purpose of research is to develop the methodical approaches to the use of remote sensing data for assessing and diagnosing the status of soils and for conducting large-scale soil surveys. Research methods: desk and field methods including mathematical and statistical data processing tools, methods of interpretation of the satellite images and analytical methods. The results of the research include the guidelines on the diagnosis and evaluation of soil status using satellite imagery. Novelty lies in the creation of modern (renewed) procedure of large-scale studies of soil cover for its diagnosis and condition assessment involving remote sensing methods that would serve as a basis for adaptive soil protective agriculture. The economic effect of implementing the research results is achieved through financial and labor costs reduction by 50% and higher, depending on the scale of soil survey and the structure of soil cover. Area of use - agriculture. Product Description popup.authors Биндич Т.Ю. Вяткін К.В. Коляда Л.П. Трускавецький С.Р. Шерстюк О.І. popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
