The purpose of the work - to complete of the study of stability and identity the chemical composition of the reference materials of soil, compliance assessment and metrological examination of the technical documentation, updating and approval of documentation on industrial reference materials of soil composition, developed during the 2011-2013. Investigation techniques - laboratory experiments, data statistical processing, expert assessment of published information. An industrial reference materials of soil composition (agrochemical indices) of ordinary light-clay chernozem, of a typical heavy-loamy chernozem and sod-podzolic sandy-loam soil was developed. They are intended to use in the field of state metrological supervision and control for the calibration of measuring systems, certification of measurement techniques, error control in the measurements. Novelty - the industrial reference materials of soil composition (agrochemical indices) of ordinary light-clay chernozem, of a typical heavy-loamy chernozem and sod-podzolic sandy-loam soil was developed for the first time. The results of research are planned to introduce in measuring laboratories of institutions of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and the State Institution "Soils Protection Institute of Ukraine" and its affiliates (approximately 50 laboratories). Efficiency - it becomes possible to control the quality of agrochemical indicators measurements on the contents of which reference materials are certified; the expense of materials, energy and labor time to perform measurements are reduced by 20-30%.
