The influence mechanisms of radiation irradiation on magnetic (paramagnetic) properties of point defects and nanoscale structures in minerals and biominerals are determined. On the basis of data about the formation mechanisms of radiation-stimulated centers in quartz and tooth enamel, the new approaches in retrospective dosimetry of environment and population have developed. By means of experiment and computer modeling the mechanisms of metamict disintegration and radiation stability of minerals are determined.
