The methods of signal analysis have been studied and the most suitable of them for identification the dominant modes of LFO in real-time were determined. Conceptual principles of creation of integrated damping system (IDS) LFO to prevent an oscillatory stability loss of Interconnected Power System of Ukraine were designed. The components of IDS LFO and structural and algorithmic solutions to develop new ACES SM were developed and implemented in the production. The efficiency and benefits of developed means were corroborated with results of mathematical modeling and bench testing. Software complexes to perform automated calculations of settings for all kinds of protection systems existing in electrical networks of Ukraine were developed and implemented in the production. It is possible to perform the calculations for electrical networks dimension of 10000 nodes. The analogs of the elaborated means are absent in Ukraine. The sector of application is electrical power systems.
