Objective - to ensure the formation , study and long-term storage of the core and stone fruits of feature collections for future breeding , scientific, educational and other projects , as well as the development of methods of formation , conservation and use of genetic collections , study samples of stone fruits and their classification Methods of research - long-term field, laboratory, mathematics and statistics ( the correlation , re-gression and analysis of variance). The Institute of pomology has significant genetic fund of stone fruit: plums - 179 сherry - 54 , cherry - 54 , apricot - 72, рeach - 27 , dogwood - 50 samples. During the study period from 2011 to 2015 the collection of stone fruits replenished on 82 samples, 74 registered securities samples in 2015: 1 plums, cherries - 4, cherries - 4, apricot - 2, 2 peach, dogwood - 2. Apply for registration descriptive collections plums, cherries, apricots, dogwood, formed in 2015 and submitted for registration descriptive collection dogwood. Circulated in the scientific, educational and industrial institutions of Ukraine in the form of the cuttings and planting material samples 688, in 2015 - 186 samples. In carrying out its own selection problems in 2015 it was used 44 samples of stone fruits. Supported in a viable state 436 samples , all samples pasportification. According to the research it has been allocated 33 samples suggested as sources of productivity and quality of the fruit.
