Purpose of the research – the most effective combinations of legume genotypes and rhizobial strains can be revealed, the host germplasm accessions with effective symbiotic nitrogen fixation under drought conditions have been evaluated. Methods of research – greenhouse, field and microbiological experiments, statistical calculations. Theoretical and practical results. The high specifical variety-strain relationships have been shown. Number of the varieties and breeding lines under inoculation by known strains increased its yield in comparison with the standard commercial variety. The greenhouse experiments with chickpea on No-N background have shown the possibility to select individual plants with greater symbiotic nitrogen fixation. It gave us the possibility to create new chickpea breeding lines with improved nitrogen fixing ability. The new soybean variety Orfei, chickpea Argument were created during these experiments; they combined high N2-fixing activity, raised drought resistance and improved seed productivity. The hybrid line L 303/04 of legume was pass to NCGRP of Ukraine. The methodical recommendation about selection plants with increased symbiotic nitrogen fixation from hybrid populations was worked out and published. The scientific newness – the great possibility of soybean, pea and chickpea yield increasing by exploiting the effective nitrogen-fixing systems have been shown in greenhouse and field research. The high yielding breeding material of legume crops with greater symbiotic nitrogen fixation was created. The effect of introduction – the soybean, pea and chickpea varieties, created during these experiments, will be sown on 50.000 ha each, annually extra production cost will reach 20 million hryvnias. Area of using – agriculture, mixed fodder. Product Description popup.authors Лаврова Галина Дмитрівна Січкар В'ячеслав Іванович popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
