A particular emphasis is laid on the investigation of the features of functional and metabolic changes under the influence of various exogenous and endoecological factors and the nature of the manifestation of stress-limiting reactions under these conditions. The work has determined the kinetic characteristics of arginase and NO-synthase activity in peripheral blood lymphocytes of patients with rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondyloarthritis depending on L-arginine, Ca2+ ions, saponin and protein concentration. The cytoprotective effect of melatonin in relation to the esophageal mucosa tissues has been specified. The paper also substantiates the expediency of previous using of adrenoblockers under the influence of ionizing radiation for improving the efficiency of recovery processes in post-radiation period. It has been detected that there is a connection between elevated levels of heavy metals in the blood and the development of anemia threatened abortion. The obtained results are important for understanding of the pathophysiological changes in peripheral blood lymphocytes under the conditions of rheumatic disease and may be useful for further study and understanding of the role of arginase and NO-synthase in this process. The obtained data have allowed to elaborate the methods for assessment of adaptive-compensatory processes of the organism under the conditions of the extreme factors action during treatment of bioprotectors.
