Intensity of the cytotoxic effect of metal nanoparticles depended on the toxicity of the metal, the size of nanoparticles, the dose and duration of exposure. In vitro experiments on rats showed that metal nanoparticles exposure causes a general toxic effect (changes in body weight and organs); violation of the synthesis of heme, and haematopoiesis; effect on biochemical parameters characterizing the protein, lipid and carbohydrate exchanges, nonspecific natural resistance of the organism, changes in the morpho-functional state of the liver, kidneys and spleen. Based on these results the complex of methods and indicators are proposed for toxicological and epidemiological risk assessment of heavy metals nanomaterials and nanoparticles in the in vitro and in vivo, to detect the presence of potential risks associated with their production and use, depending on their physical and chemical characteristics Product Description popup.authors І.В.
