Purpose of work. Scientific groundation of measures due to decrease of irradiation doses of Ukrainian population from natural radionuclides. Methods. Analytical, gamma-spectrometry. Results. It was established that legislative requirements due to regulatory control over Ukrainian enterprises with high content of natural radionuclides in residues are not specified. It was analyzed mining and milling residues of minerals (90 samples) due to content of natural radionuclides from 11 enterprises of different regions of Ukraine. IAEA levels for clearance of activity concentrations of radionuclides of natural origin are not exceeded in more than 90% of residue samples of industrial activity.
