Purpose of work. Scientific groundation of measures due to decrease of irradiation doses of Ukrainian population from natural radionuclides. Methods. Analytical, gamma-spectrometry, calculated, statistical. Results. It was analyzed mining and milling residues of minerals (187 samples) due to content of natural radionuclides of U-238 and Th-232 series, and K-40 from 31 enterprises of Ukraine including samples measured at the first phase of the work. IAEA levels for clearance of activity concentrations of radionuclides of natural origin are not exceeded in more than 95% of residue samples of industrial activity. It was identified two enterprises where levels for clearance are exceeded. Exceeding of IAEA levels for clearance of material in residue of three oil and gas industrial enterprises from 3 to 30 times was detected.
